HISTORY: DDM comprises individuals with significant and major development experience in Portugal, with 2017 seeing its sourcing of investment for the acquisition and development of a €150m GDV mixed-use project in Porto. This was added to in 2018 by DDM's participation in a further investor acquisition of a €110m GDV new-build residential scheme in Lisbon.

Seven major resorts containing over 1,000 properties have been built by the DDM Team. In addition to the profitable operation of eight golf courses that catered for over 250,000 rounds per annum, a range of support facilities included 7 clubhouses, 8 bars, 8 restaurants, a health spa, and 2 hotels were operated by the team in the Algarve and the Lisbon area.

Our Team

Gerry Fagan

 

Gerry’s wide-ranging experience in Asset Management,  Development and associated Operational sectors combined with a broad network of contacts led him recently to seek out project opportunities in Portugal, tailored for national and international investors who require optimum returns from their property investments.

Martin Date

 

Former COO of the Oceânico Group, Martin has spent 30 years in Portugal managing property developments and associated businesses. His background and experience in construction, operations and property sales in the international environment provides a practical focus to the team. Martin is well-versed and experienced in setting up and operating a sales network and taking real estate products to the target market.

Brett Hawkins

 

With a strong blue chip background in the finance sector, having previously worked for Diageo Plc and UBS Warburg in London, Brett moved to Portugal in 2002 and spent 8 years with the Oceanico Group in the position of Group Financial Controller.  Following this he set up his own business in the Portuguese Construction Sector, where he has spent the past 5 years. Brett now returns to his financial roots having recently joined Gerry and Martin to support the team in all matters financial.

Kitty Lau

 

Formerly with the Oceânico Group, Kitty returned to join the DDM directors to provide efficient, speedy and comprehensive administrative support to the board and other team members. Liaison with investors to ensure the timely provision of information is a key element of Kitty’s role.

Of Anglo-Portuguese nationality, Kitty’s academic background in Marketing and Design has brought professional digital presentation skills to DDM where she takes responsibility for the group’s output of marketing materials in all formats.

Gordon Riske

With extensive background in hotel management, Gordon was selected by DDM directors to assist with Projects and properties sourcing and scouting.

Gordon’s multilingual skills allowed liaison with international investors throughout the recent years, having also been involved in property sales and GRP processes.
